20's Plenty for Richmond

About Us

20's Plenty for Richmond is an alliance of local organisations that wants Richmond Council to introduce 20mph as the default speed limit on all roads within the Borough, except the A316 and South Circular which are separately controlled by Transport for London.

We are campaigning in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames which includes Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, the Hamptons, Whitton, Heathfield, Kew, East Sheen, Mortlake and Barnes.

We were set up in late 2013, are non-political and not allied to any political party. Member organisations include Richmond and Twickenham Friends of the Earth, Richmond Cycling Campaign, Make Air Safe and Clean and St Margarets Save Our Lungs.

International and UK wide organisations supporting the 20s Plenty campaign include the World Heath Organisation, Age UK, the Alzheimers Society, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Roadpeace and the Royal College of Paediatric & Child Health.

We welcome new local member organisations that share our aims.
